Today I did another test run on the leg! I ran 5.3 miles in Tecolote Canyon with Doc. The leg felt great the whole time. I am STOKED about this and it looks like, as of now, I will still be doing the PCT 50! I had 4 weeks @ 45-50 miles per week before the injury so I am going to build aggressively until the race. However, if at any point I feel anything in my leg, I will be tossing the race. As much as I want to do the PCT, I don’t want to ruin the rest of my race season.
Cheers & Beers!

Yay Jay! Don’t get too crazy with your running just yet. No more injuries for you this year.

Hey Jay! I know what you mean. I have a minor quad strain and as I am writing this I am electro-stimulating my leg! I really want to get out there and run but I have to be patient. Grr!

Jay,
You made a post a while back in TrailRocker@blogspot.com
Thanks for posting! I have been so busy working on a few other blogs that I neglected this one. I will be moving everything over to my Wordpress blog. Great trail blog of yours!
Cheers (and beers)
Mark
